Wooden scaffold board, also known as wooden springboard, is a temporary turnover building material that is laid on scaffolding and operating frames to facilitate workers' walking, material transportation, and construction operations above them. Wooden scaffold board is a common type of wooden scaffold board, often made of cedar or pine wood. The thickness of the wooden frame board should not be less than 50mm, the width of the board should be 200-250mm, and the length of the board should be 3-6m. To prevent damage to the end of the wooden frame board during use, two 10 gauge iron wires can be used to tighten it at a distance of 80mm from both ends of the wooden springboard, or iron sheets with a thickness of 0.4-0.6mm can be used to wrap it. Wooden gangboards are commonly used in bamboo and wooden scaffolding, clip on steel pipe scaffolding, and independent inclined tracks with high loads, and are less commonly used in mobile scaffolding, various tool scaffolding, and portal scaffolding. The characteristics of wooden frame boards are wide range of use, simple laying method, easy disassembly, and good foot feel for construction personnel during use.
