Water grates are divided into three types:
GT type
According to the direction of the roadway, GT type steel grating groove covers are divided into side groove covers and transverse groove covers. The ones that carry flat steel perpendicular to the direction of the roadway are called side groove covers, and the ones that carry flat steel parallel to the direction of the roadway are called transverse groove covers.
GU type
The GU type groove steel grate has no edge groove and uses U-shaped steel grating groove cover plate, which is very simple and economical. It does not require a different groove edge. When the load is T6-14, it is recommended to bury angle steel on the groove edge. At the same time, prefabricated U-shaped groove blocks can also be used to construct the ditch, which can effectively prevent sewage from leaking to the ground. It should be noted that this U-shaped steel grating groove cover plate is only suitable for side ditches when passing by vehicles.
GM type
GM type steel grates are used as cover plates for rainwater wells, dust and sand wells, sewage wells, and other municipal facilities such as roads and parks. GM type steel grates can be designed to be foldable, with a typical opening and closing angle of 110 degrees. The steel grating groove cover plate with a corner rail not only simplifies the installation process but also provides anti-theft protection.
Question 5: What is the function of the water grid in the pipeline?
The delay device mainly plays a role in preventing false alarms. When the sprinkler head of the fire extinguishing system sprays water, the wet alarm valve opens instantly due to changes in water pressure, and water enters the delay device. At this time, only a small amount of water enters the delay device, and the water will be discharged from the throttle hole located at the lower part of the delay device. The water will not enter the hydraulic alarm bell or pressure switch and will not sound an alarm.
