The filter cloth is sandwiched between the sealing surfaces of the plate and frame, forming a sealing gasket inside the sealing surfaces of the filter plate and frame. The filtering surface supporting the filter cloth is covered with grooves, and all grooves are connected to the channels for discharging filtrate. A filter press is composed of many parallel filter chambers. On both sides of each filter chamber, there are filter cloth layers that prevent solid particles in the suspension from passing through and allow the filtrate to permeate, The total filtration area of these filter plates represents all the production capacity of the filter press.           Plate and frame filter press          It is composed of a filter plate and a filter frame, and can withstand low filtration pressure (usually less than 0.6Mpa). Each device has different numbers of plates and frames according to the size of the area. Plate frame filter press is generally used for filtering materials with less granular objects, and is commonly used for filtering fine products. Filter paper can be added to the back of the filter cloth for filtration.             Box filter press          A single filter plate is thicker than a plate frame filter plate, which means that a box filter press is composed of two identical filter plates that are combined together. When the two filter plates are compressed, a filter chamber is formed between them to store granular objects isolated by filter cloth. The feeding hole is placed in the center of the filter plate and is generally used for materials with a high proportion of granular objects, such as sewage treatment, mineral processing, coal washing and other industries. The characteristic of a box filter press is that it should not cause bias pressure in each filter chamber, so the filter plate should not be damaged. The filtration speed is fast, the slag discharge is convenient, the filtration pressure is high, the liquid content of the filter cake is low, and it can withstand a filtration pressure of up to 3.0Mpa. It is easy to achieve automatic plate unloading and has a wider range of adaptability. It can manufacture the largest filter press. Washable type refers to the displacement between the washing solution and the filter cake. The washing method of the filter cake is clear flow washable, dark flow washable, and suitable for washing type (also known as bidirectional cross washing type). If non washable type is selected, it can only be filtered and not washable.
