Operating Principle Material is vertically dropped into the high-speed rotating impeller from the top of the machine, where it is subjected to high-speed centrifugal force. It then collides and crushes with another portion of material flowing around the impeller in an umbrella-like pattern at high speed. After mutual collisions, the material forms eddies between the impeller and the housing, repeatedly colliding and frictionally crushing.
