Introduction: The KCB type gear pump is mainly composed of gears, shaft, pump body, safety valve, and shaft end seal. The gears, after heat treatment, possess high hardness and strength, and run together with the shaft inside a replaceable shaft sleeve. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is achieved automatically during operation by the output medium.
Purpose
The KCB type gear pump is suitable for transferring lubricating oils or other liquids with similar properties that do not contain solid particles or fibers, are non-corrosive, and have a temperature not exceeding 80°C, with a viscosity ranging from 5×10-6 to 1.5×10-3 m2/s (5-1500 cSt).
Structural characteristics
This series of gear pumps is primarily composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft-end seals. The gears are heat-treated for high hardness and strength, and operate together with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. All components within the pump are lubricated automatically during operation using the output medium. The pump features well-designed oil discharge and return slots, which minimize the torque forces experienced by the gears during operation, resulting in lower bearing loads, less wear, and higher pump efficiency.
The pump is equipped with a safety valve for overload protection. The full回流 pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the pump's rated discharge pressure and can also be adjusted within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual needs. However, note that this safety valve cannot be used as a pressure-reducing valve for long-term operation and should be installed separately if needed. Viewing from the main shaft extension towards the pump, it rotates clockwise. The performance parameters of each type of gear pump are determined at a medium viscosity of 4×10-3 m2/s (40 cSt). The parameter values provided in the performance parameters table are applicable for medium viscosities of 1×10-5 to 8×10-5 m2/s (10 to 80 cSt). For values outside this range, they are determined separately based on the user's performance parameter requirements. The discharge pressures provided in the performance parameters of each type of gear pump are the maximum working pressure values. Within this range, the pump can operate normally, with the working range shown in Figure 1. The KCB series gear oil pumps consist of components such as the pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, main and driven shafts, bearings, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The KCB18.3-83.3 main driving gears are a pair of bevel cylindrical gears with a direct-acting safety valve. The KCB200-960 main driving gears are a V-type gear set made up of four bevel gears with a differential pressure safety valve. The entire series of gear oil pumps are equipped with a three-bolt flexible coupling to form a hot oil pump unit with an electric motor. This series of gear oil pumps feature a simple and compact structure, are easy to use and maintain, operate smoothly, and are safe and reliable for use.
Application Scope
This type of gear oil pump is suitable for transporting heavy oils, diesel, mechanical oils, vegetable oils, and other similar fluids with viscosities not exceeding 150 mm²/s, temperatures not exceeding 120°C, free of corrosiveness, and without hard particle impurities and fibers.
This type of gear oil pump is mainly used for the transfer, pressurization, and fuel injection of oil media in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mining, and power stations, as well as in the lubrication cycle of large-scale machinery and equipment. It can be used as a lubrication pump in various types of machinery and equipment.
Used as transmission and pressure boost pumps in oil transportation systems; as fuel supply, pressurizing, and injection pumps in fuel systems; and as lubrication pumps in all industrial fields.
