Bitumen insulation pumps are available in two types: ordinary and cast steel, both featuring insulation jackets. These insulation pumps are suitable for liquids that solidify or crystallize at room temperature but become easily flowable and lubricious when heated and maintained at a constant temperature, as well as for outdoor installations and processes in cold regions where insulation is required. Upon startup, the pump is preheated to reduce the starting power.
Ideal for conveying corrosive or non-corrosive liquids with high hygiene requirements, the medium contains no solid particles, and the temperature does not exceed 350°C. Suitable for liquids with a viscosity of 5cSt to 1500cSt, such as various chemical raw materials, packaging, detergents, dyeing, brewing, resins, and adhesives. The pump has two transmission methods: motor direct connection and reducer. When the liquid viscosity exceeds 1500cSt, a reducer should be used for transmission.
The asphalt insulation pump features a hollow sandwiched body with inlet and outlet flanges, suitable for heating and insulation of conveyed liquids and the pump using media like thermal oil, steam, and hot water. The transmission methods include motor direct coupling and reducer. When the liquid viscosity exceeds 1500 cSt, a reducer transmission should be used.
