Introduction: The KCB type gear pump is mainly composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears are heat treated for high hardness and strength, and run together with the shafts inside replaceable shaft sleeves. All parts inside the pump are lubricated automatically during operation by the output medium.
Purpose
The KCB type gear pump is suitable for conveying oils or other liquids with similar properties that are free of solid particles and fibers, non-corrosive, with temperatures not exceeding 80°C, and viscosities ranging from 5×10^-6 to 1.5×10^-3 m^2/s (5-1500 cSt).
● Structural Characteristics
This series of gear pumps is primarily composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears are heat treated for high hardness and strength and operate together with the shafts within replaceable shaft sleeves. All parts inside the pump are lubricated automatically during operation using the output medium. The pump features well-designed oil discharge and return slots, which result in minimal torque forces on the gears during operation. This leads to lower bearing loads, reduced wear, and high pump efficiency.
Pumps are equipped with safety valves for overload protection. The full回流 pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the pump's rated discharge pressure and can also be adjusted within the allowable discharge pressure range according to actual needs. However, note that this safety valve is not suitable for long-term operation as a pressure-reducing valve and should be installed separately on the pipeline if needed. Looking from the outer end of the main shaft towards the pump, the rotation is clockwise. The performance parameters of various gear pumps are determined at a medium viscosity of 4×10^-3 m^2/s (40 cSt). The parameter values provided in the performance parameter table are applicable to a medium viscosity range of 1×10^-5 to 8×10^-5 m^2/s (10 to 80 cSt). For values outside this range, they are determined separately based on the user's specified performance parameters. The discharge pressure values provided in the performance parameters of various gear pumps are the maximum working pressure values. Within this range, the pump can operate normally, with the operating range shown in Figure 1. The KCB series gear oil pumps are composed of components such as the pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, main and driven shafts, bearings, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The KCB18.3-83.3 main drive gears are a pair of helical cylindrical gears with a direct-acting safety valve. The KCB200-960 main drive gears are a human-shaped gear set composed of four helical gears with a differential pressure safety valve. The full series of gear oil pumps are composed of a thermal oil pump unit with a three-jaw elastic coupling and an electric motor. This series of gear oil pumps has a simple and compact structure, is easy to use and maintain, operates smoothly, and is safe and reliable to use.
Application Scope
This type of gear oil pump is suitable for transporting heavy oils, diesel, mechanical oils, vegetable oils, and other similar liquids with viscosities not exceeding 150 mm²/s, temperatures not exceeding 120°C, non-corrosive, free of hard particle impurities and fibers.
This type of gear oil pump is primarily used for the transfer, pressurization, and fuel injection of oil media in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mining, and power stations, as well as in the rare oil circulation of large-scale machinery and equipment. It can also be used as a lubricating pump in various types of machinery and equipment.
In oil transfer systems, it serves as a transmission and booster pump; in fuel systems, it functions as a输送, pressurizing, and喷射 fuel pump; across all industrial sectors, it can be used as a lubrication pump.
