Causes and Solutions for Noise Emission in Sorting Machines
When large pieces of iron pass through the eddy current separator's magnetic roller, there is a loud, piercing sound. The sound returns to normal shortly thereafter, indicating that the iron has been unloaded.
Two: Noise caused by a large amount of dust adhering to the track surface, such as: The noise is usually weak but can overheat under the effect of eddy forces over time, thereby accelerating the wear of the drum skin. Once the conveyor belt is worn out, it will enter the conveying surface and damage the equipment.
Three, there will be a strange sound when iron or metal is present at the junction of the conveyor belt and the drum. Usually, such a sound lasts for more than 30 seconds, at which point the machine should be shut down for inspection. The foreign object must be cleaned thoroughly before restarting and testing to ensure there are no issues before resuming use.
Please note the following points during the production and use of the sorting machine:
Prior to operation, perform a trial run for 2 to 3 minutes to check the smooth movement of the transmission system and the conveying belt.
Items on the conveyor belt should not be stacked excessively to avoid affecting the sorting efficiency, and sorted items should not be left on the belt to disrupt subsequent operations.
Through walking on a silicone belt, the fruit falls into the receiving trough through the appropriate apertures and is discharged through the guiding outlet.
Please arrange the to-be-sorted fruits and vegetables neatly on the conveyor belt, without pressing them on the rollers.
Manual sorting methods can minimize mechanical damage to fruits during grading to a certain extent; however, due to subjective judgments influenced by individual vision, color recognition abilities, mood, ambient light, and other factors, accuracy is not high, making it difficult to strictly adhere to grading standards. Additionally, grading is slow, labor-intensive, and requires a large workforce. As labor costs continue to rise, manual grading methods are increasingly restricted. Mechanical sorting methods are divided into two sorting criteria: size-based sorting and weight-based sorting. Currently, size-based sorting includes sieve sorting, conveyor belt sorting, and drum sorting, among others. Weight-based sorting determines fruit grades by comparing weights using lever mechanisms or other comparison methods.
Manual sorting is suitable for various types of fruits and is currently one of the grading methods used for fruit grading in China. There are mainly two grading methods: one is based on the subjective visual judgment of fruit size, shape, and color; the other is the use of fruit selection boards for grading. The selection boards have holes of different diameters depending on the type of fruit being sorted, and the grading is determined by comparing the fruit's transverse diameter and colored area with the diameter of the holes on the selection board.
