The demand for measurement instrument systems and electrical device systems in combustible dust environments is increasing. However, relying solely on sealed enclosures to address explosion-proofing issues is only suitable for electrical systems with few components and low heat generation. For larger electrical systems (with more components, higher power, and greater heat generation), merely depending on well-sealed enclosures for explosion-proofing electrical equipment does not meet safety requirements and is not highly feasible.
The feature lies in the cabinet structure, which includes an exhaust device, a main cabinet for installing explosion-proof protected control systems, and a secondary cabinet for installing positive pressure control systems. The main and secondary cabinets are independently and fixedly connected to each other. The exhaust device is located at the top of the main cabinet and is connected to the main cabinet using welding, cable sealed joints, and sleeve joints; the secondary cabinet houses a dust explosion-proof electrical control box. This control box is equipped with a positive pressure protection and power supply control unit from the main box and is connected to the main cabinet via electrical and gas outlets.
The explosion-proof flame arrester breathing caps and their bases are connected by bolts with a sealing washer in between. The pressure relief valve is installed in the top opening of the main cabinet. The flame arrester breathing cap base covers the pressure relief valve and is fully welded to the top of the main cabinet. One end of the explosion-proof solenoid valve is connected to the main cabinet via a coupling socket and copper pipe, while the other end is connected to the threaded interface of the explosion-proof flame arrester breathing cap base. One end of the adjustable one-way throttle valve is connected to the main cabinet via a coupling socket and copper pipe, and the other end is connected to the threaded interface of the explosion-proof flame arrester breathing cap base.
