The quality standard is that there should be no obvious color variations, though natural stone will naturally have some. As long as the differences are not too pronounced, the stone should be hard and free from cracks. Flagstones typically measure one meter in length, with widths of ten or fifteen centimeters, and heights of either twenty or thirty centimeters. The dimensions should not exceed a tolerance of 0.5 centimeters within the specified size. The smaller the tolerance, the higher the quality, resulting in a more attractive installation. Additionally, the installation standards include a straightness of ten millimeters, a height difference between adjacent blocks of three millimeters, a joint width of three millimeters, and a top surface elevation of the side stones at ten millimeters. These are the basic quality standards.
