Detection TAB is the name of a gas detection unit developed by Japan's Riken Company, which is stored in a composite resin box made of environmentally friendly materials and wrapped in paper made of a special material that changes color upon contact with gas. Therefore, the storage of Detection TAB must be carried out according to the specified storage methods.
The "use by" date indicated on the packaging bag should be adhered to, as the testing tab (TAB) will degrade and lose its performance once past its expiration. When storing the testing tab, do not open the bag containing the TAB and keep it in a designated location.
Storage locations may vary depending on the test TAB, please store according to the requirements indicated on the packaging bag. Once the test TAB is opened, it cannot be stored further.
Storing TAB without packaging, exposing it to air, or continuously keeping it on the fp-30 instrument will cause it to change color and lose its original properties.
Do not wipe the TAB test with a test strip; the strip is coated with a special reagent. Do not touch it with your fingers or any object, as this may decrease its detection ability.
If your fingers touch the test strip, although it won't cause direct harm to the body, it's necessary to wash with water due to the chemicals used.
Always use a new detection TAB for gas testing. Using a used or long-unopened detection TAB will prevent accurate testing and may result in a poor TAB display.
Even if there are no display issues with the TAB, it does not guarantee the accuracy of the test results. Additionally, even new products can be damaged in performance if the TAB is affected by gases in the atmosphere, which requires attention.
