The flap door, as introduced, is an anti-reverse valve installed at the end of drainage pipes, designed to prevent backflow of external water. It is primarily composed of four parts: the valve seat, valve plate, sealing gasket, and hinge. The shapes are available in round and square. Traditionally made from various metals, the material has now evolved into a variety of composite materials. The main types include glass fiber flap doors and cast iron steel flap doors.
Routine maintenance checks for glass fiber gate valves are quite simple, mainly involving the following two aspects:
1. During its use, the glass fiber shutter door should ensure that its channels and sealing rings are not obstructed by debris such as stones and branches.
Regularly clean the sediment pool beneath the GRP gate to maintain lubrication in the GRP gate's support ear holes and hinge shaft.
The advantages of glass fiber door slats are primarily evident in: the lightweight composite material, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging properties; no recyclable value, providing effective anti-theft measures; increased opening angle, significantly reducing the force required to open and close the glass fiber door slats; superior mechanical performance, strong design flexibility, and reliable operation.
