Product Introduction: Drive Drum
The drive roller is the main component that transmits power in belt conveyors, and the methods of driving the conveyors include single roller, double roller, and multi-roller. Single rollers are commonly used on conveyors with moderate power, such as surface transportation in coal mines and coal preparation plants. Underground belt conveyors generally use double rollers to make the conveyor structure more compact.
The transmission drum features a bare polished steel surface with V-shaped and diamond pattern rubber coatings. The bare polished steel surface can be used for low power, narrow belts, and in dry environments.
The V-groove rubber surface features high friction coefficient, excellent anti-slip and drainage properties, but is directional. The diamond rubber surface is used for conveyors operating in both directions.
