Crack Tape

Crack-bridging tape is a self-adhesive interlayer waterproofing material, consisting of three parts: the top layer of high-tensile woven fabric, the middle asphalt, and the bottom layer of isolation film. It is mainly used for the construction and maintenance of the subgrade of expressways, general roads, and urban roads.

The application method for crack reinforcement tape is as follows:

Before laying, clean out the mud and sand from the gaps and the surface, ensuring the road is dry.

If there are large gaps during installation, they must be sealed with glue first.

Apply an asphalt oil layer on the cleared pavement.

Apply the adhesive side of the crack贴 down on the main crack surface to prevent the bottom cracks from reflecting onto the asphalt concrete road surface.

Perform asphalt concrete paving construction.
