The sheath core of this radiant heating cable for solar water heaters is made by combining nanometer conductive materials with high polymer compounds, uniformly wrapped around two parallel metal wires. The heating cable features radiation crosslinking, allowing for quick temperature rise in cold environments, low start-up current, automatic adjustment of output power based on the temperature of the hot water heater's pipeline, free cutting to length, no high-temperature overheating, easy installation, and convenient maintenance. It is an effective product for preventing freezing and blocking in solar water heater pipelines.
Note: The power switch for the installation of shielding and protective electric heating tapes must have a grounded double-end to connect with the shielding wire of the heating tape.
The maximum installed length of the solar heating cable should be less than the number of meters specified on the packaging certificate.
2. When laying horizontal pipelines in parallel, ensure the electric tracing is tightly adhered to the pipeline wall. This allows for more efficient heat transfer during operation and reduces heat loss.
3. Additionally, the frost protection sensor must be installed at the upper part of the pipe (i.e., opposite the heating tape); it should not be directly in contact with the heating tape, as this will prevent accurate detection of the actual pipe temperature.
4. When using other laying methods, pay attention to the installation position of the frost protection sensor as well; placing it at the low point of the pipeline is ideal.
