How to Choose Home Use Gypsum Powder: Plastering Gypsum: Mainly used for large area leveling of walls, mix with water and stir evenly before use; do not mix with other materials. The recommended thickness for each coat is 0.5-1 cm (single layer thickness should not exceed 2 cm, and not be less than 0.5 cm). The product's open time (i.e., working time) is about 1 hour, and the product must be used within this time frame; do not add water to stir after initial setting. Drying time is 48 hours, and the interval between each coat should be no less than 24 hours. Due to the lower strength and bonding power of plastering gypsum compared to jointing gypsum and high-strength gypsum powder, it is not suitable for filling in line grooves, gaps in gypsum boards, corners, or for making points for reinforcing bars.
