1. Common specifications and models of household air switches

Currently, residential customers are using the DZ series of circuit breakers. Common specifications include models such as C16, C25, C32, C40, C60, C80, C100, and C120, where "C" denotes the trip current, or the starting current. For instance, C32 indicates a starting current of 32 Amps. Generally, a C32 circuit breaker is required for installing a 6500W water heater, while a C40 circuit breaker is needed for 7500W and 8500W water heaters.

DW and DZ type circuit breakers are available in ratings of 20, 32, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 160, 250, 400, 600, 800, 1000... (unit: A)

There are many types of circuit breakers, but their model markings are generally similar, making them easy to understand. However, different companies have different names, leading to varying product names for the same item. Yet, the markings remain consistent. Below, we introduce the model specifications of circuit breakers with the example of Huazhou's circuit breaker products.

Example:

HZM6-63C32/1 - HZ represents the enterprise code (Huazhou), M6 is the product model, 63 is the shell frame rating, C indicates the usage category: lighting circuit (or general circuit), 32 is the rated current, and 1 denotes 1P (1 pole). The circuit breaker HZW66-400/3 is an HZW automatic air circuit breaker, with "400" indicating the rated current (A) and "/3" indicating 3 poles.

b. Polarity and Representation Methods for Air Switches (Circuit Breakers)

Single-pole 220V circuit breaker (trips the live wire); double-pole 220V simultaneously cuts the live and neutral wires (DPN dual input/output circuit breaker for live and neutral wires); three-phase 380V cuts all three lines; four-phase 380V cuts all live wires and one phase of neutral wires.

Typically, a 10-16A microcircuit is chosen for lighting circuits.
