Safety Precautions for Operating a Mowing Barge
Below, we introduce the precautions for operating the lawn barge:
Before starting up, inspect the entire cutting boat's mechanical transmission system and machinery lubricants. Then, engage the diesel engine connected to the rear pull conveyor, disengage the clutch, start the diesel engine, gradually release the clutch, and adjust the speed to normal. Lastly, start the diesel engine for the front chain bucket.
2. After the two diesel engines start up, adjust the speed to the required level. Then release the big arm brake and slowly lower it. Stop lowering when the hopper is more than 2/3 full of debris. Lower the big arm again when it reaches 1/3 full. When the big arm forms a 45-degree angle with the water surface, stop lowering the arm. At this point, the amount of debris in the hopper is controlled using the traction system.
3. When advancing the cutter boat, check the amount of grass in the hopper and move forward and backward flexibly. If the machine struggles or cannot pull due to sand layer collapse, release the tow rope to allow the boat to retreat until the digging is effective. If encountering large rocks or clay layers underwater, the boat may experience severe vibrations. In this case, immediately lift the sand digging arm to bypass the obstacle and continue.
