1. The Role of Ozone: Ozone possesses a high chemical reactivity and greater destructiveness. It causes molecular chains to break, but its effect on silicone tubes varies depending on whether they deform. When ozone acts on deformed silicone tubes, particularly those primarily composed of unsaturated rubber, it results in cracks that run perpendicular to the direction of stress, known as "ozone cracking." When acting on deformed silicone tubes, it only forms an oxide film on the surface without causing cracking.

The Role of Moisture:Silicone TubeWhen exposed to damp air, rain, or immersion in water, it is prone to damage due to the extraction and dissolution of water-soluble substances in the silicone tube and components like the water-soluble sponges. This damage is caused by hydrolysis or absorption, among other reasons. Particularly under alternating actions of water immersion and atmospheric exposure, the degradation of the silicone tube is accelerated.
