The glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) storage tank is formed through jet winding technology. The structure of the FRP container consists of a corrosion and leakage-proof inner lining, an enhanced structural layer, and an exterior aging-resistant layer. It ensures both excellent resistance to medium corrosion and sufficient physical and mechanical properties to meet storage requirements. The design offers great flexibility and optimal container wall structural performance. The physical and chemical properties of the FRP, such as tanks and towers, can be adjusted by changing the resin system or reinforcing materials to accommodate different media and working conditions. The load-bearing capacity of the tank can be adjusted through the design of the structural layer thickness, winding angle, and wall thickness, catering to various pressure levels, volume sizes, and specific properties of FRP tanks and towers, which is unmatched by isotropic metal materials. It is corrosion-resistant, leakage-proof, and has excellent weather resistance. FRP boasts unique corrosion resistance, demonstrating superior properties compared to other materials when storing corrosive media, capable of withstanding various acids, bases, salts, and organic solvents. This illustrates the widespread application of FRP, but the quality of FRP products depends on raw materials, construction techniques, and other factors. The FRP spraying lining process, as a newly emerging mechanized production technology domestically, holds significant advantages.
