Specific operation of customs fumigation:
Inspection personnel open the container for examination. They check if the case is sealed properly, if the ventilation holes are sealed, if there are any insect holes or bark on the wooden packaging, and also verify the quantity, marks, product names, and registration numbers of the cases.
2. Seal the boxes, spray, and wait for a 24-hour fumigation period; the containers must not be moved during this time.
3. Exhaustion: After 24 hours of fumigation, the phytosanitary inspector will open the box for exhaust. Generally, the box can be sealed and lead-coated after half a workday of exhaust, then transported to the port dock.
4. Obtain customs clearance documents, then, after half a day of exhaust, use the work contact sheet to pass through the customs clearance documents for customs declaration.
5. Obtain fumigation certificate; typically, you can pick up the certificate three working days after the exhaust.
