Huangxiu Stone is an excellent decorative material with great applicability. Its color and luster do not fade or dim, and it maintains a high surface gloss after polishing. It does not chip after sanding and is resistant to scratches and high temperatures. Moreover, Huangxiu Stone boasts an extremely high hardness. It is increasingly popular in the construction market. Despite its widespread popularity, many may not be aware of how Huangxiu Stone is mined.

Huangxiu Stone is hard, and sawing is commonly used for processing. For acidic and intermediate-acidic rocks that form ore deposits, mechanized high-extraction methods are generally employed, which is characteristic of bedrock. Mining is carried out using the primary joints of the rock mass. Generally, the dip angles within the rock layers are gentle, creating a free surface. The direction of the working face should parallel the direction of the longitudinal joints. Then, progress is made along the bedding joints, and flame cutting is used along the transverse joints to separate the layers. Separation is further achieved through splitting or controlled blasting. The hole spacing and explosive charge are determined experimentally to ensure reasonable parameters. Holes are then drilled along the direction of the transverse joints, and controlled blasting or splitting is used to break down the material into rough blocks.
If the yellow rust stone is located in an open mountainous area and the ore body thickness is exposed significantly, open-pit mining on the slope should be adopted for extraction.
If the yellow rust stone is exposed on flat terrain, it should be mined using the sunken open-pit method.
3. If the exposed area is relatively small and most of the Yellow Rust Stone is covered, concealed, and surrounded, it is necessary to employ tunnel mining or well-boring methods for extraction.
