Good materials and good craftsmanship are essential for producing high-quality finished products, a rule that applies to every industry, and exterior thermal insulation systems are no exception. To ensure safe and high-quality projects, users must pay close attention to the construction points of the above YT thermal insulation materials.
I. Construction Key Points and Precautions:
YT thermal insulation material is a single-component product, which only requires water for mixing. The weight ratio of the insulation material to water is approximately 1:1.3. It is strictly prohibited to add any external substances, such as antifreeze or cement.
2. Materials must be used immediately upon mixing. After adding water and mixing, it is recommended to use the material within 2-4 hours based on the actual weather and temperature conditions. Any unused material must not be retained.
II. Basic Construction Requirements:
2. Rainwater pipes, prefabricated parts, and wall penetration pipes for equipment should be installed in advance, leaving space for insulation work, and pre-drilled holes should be sealed tightly ahead of time; 1. The main structure of the building should comply with relevant national acceptance standards (GB50203-2002, GB50204-2002, GB50210-2001).
After the thermal insulation layer is installed, it must be fully cured before the exterior facade layer can be constructed upon passing inspection.
Third-party usage;
3. YT thermal insulation materials can be directly applied to the base wall or cement mortar interface layer. Before construction, the wall should be moistened with water to achieve the bonding effect. During construction, apply a layer of 0.5-1 cm thickness. When the moisture content is approximately 60%, construction can proceed. The thickness of the coating should be controlled between 1.5-2 cm. Generally, a second coat within 4 cm thickness is sufficient for completion.
4. Construction is prohibited when temperatures are below 5°C, during rain, or with winds of 5 levels or higher. During hot weather, such as summer, when temperatures exceed 25°C, watering maintenance is required. If the weather is excessively hot or if there is an extended interval, and the construction has dried out, watering maintenance must be conducted before proceeding with another layer to prevent hollowing and weak bonding between layers.
5. Pay attention to compacting the insulation layer, ensuring it is flattened after three passes. If the finish layer is paint, simply compact and shine it. If the finish layer is tiles, do not shine it and maintain the rough surface, then proceed directly to tile adhesive application. The YT exterior wall insulation layer can be installed from bottom to top, which is more time-saving.
