YT Non-Organic Active Insulation Materials Below the Standard for Wall Coating Construction
1. Yintong's A-grade, non-flammable YT inorganic active wall insulation material can be applied in a single coat up to a thickness of 20mm. For Yintong materials, a thickness of 30mm typically requires a second coat. For instance, a 30mm thickness can be applied over a 100mm base, and when the moisture content reaches approximately 60%, a further 200mm coat can be applied. The specific thickness of the insulation layer is determined based on the climate zones across China and local conditions. It can also be used for both interior and exterior composite construction, which not only saves on the cost of materials and labor for both interior and exterior plastering with cement mortar but also shortens the construction timeline, achieving multiple benefits with one solution.
2. First, clean the dust and grease from the base wall with clean water, making it moderately moist. Then, apply the well-mixed Yintong product directly onto the base wall or previously applied cement mortar surface. Cover the wall evenly and densely, with a thickness of approximately 5-10mm. When the moisture content of the material is around 60%, apply a layer with a thickness of 15-20mm. This ensures a strong bond, without hollowing or cracking.
3. The initial setting time is approximately 3-4 hours, with all processes completed on the same day. After 10 days, tiles can be粘贴, and after 15 days, paint coatings can be applied. If the base wall is a concrete shear wall, it is necessary to perform a routine interface mortar slurry treatment one day in advance when using Yintong inorganic active thermal insulation material. It is recommended to hang a mesh (fiberglass mesh or galvanized steel wire mesh) at the shear joint to alleviate issues caused by different expansion and contraction coefficients of the base wall materials.
YT Insulation MaterialsThe installation is simple; the product is a single-component finish, which only requires mixing with water on-site and can be directly applied to walls, both interior and exterior, roofs, and staircases.
