Insulation materials can save time in construction by working from the top floor downwards.
2. During the thermal insulation layer installation, pay close attention to compacting it; ensure it is flattened after three passes. Just compact, rub smooth, and finish off the surface; if using facing tiles for the finish, no need to finish off, maintain a rough surface.
3. The insulation layer must fully cure and dry, and pass inspection, before proceeding to the next construction phase.
Insulation thickness must not have a negative deviation.
5. Additional protective corner strips have been installed at the bottom exterior wall corners to enhance impact resistance.
6. Ensure detailed treatment at the eaves and plinth of the external thermal insulation system; reinforce the local mesh construction at decorative joints, window and door corners, as well as at the interior and exterior angles. Waterproofing and structural treatments should be done at expansion joints.
Insulation layer surfaces should be equipped with partition grooves, with the width not exceeding 20mm. Partition grooves should be set in layers along the elevation, and the area of each partition should be less than 12m x 6m. Buildings with waist lines or convex/depressed lines may not require partition grooves.
8. Existing building thermal insulation and energy-saving renovations should first remove the original plastering or facing tiles. Cleanly chisel off loose and weathered areas of the old walls, and then fill and level them using 1:2.5 cement mortar. All other procedures and methods are the same as those for external wall insulation of newly constructed buildings.
9. When applying ground insulation, it should be applied from the inside out towards the door in a single coat to the designed thickness. Use a wooden or iron trowel to spread while making vibrations, and then flatten it with a straight edge, leaving a rough surface. For bathroom and basement insulation work, insulation should be applied first, followed by waterproofing. All other procedures and methods are the same as those for exterior wall insulation of new buildings.
