Adjustments and Operation of the Square Tube Polishing Machine: (1) To polish tubes of different diameters, the following adjustments are required for the HP-2 horizontal tube polishing machine. (2) Adjust the height of the main machine plate to ensure the workpiece center height is consistent with the guide wheel, small square tube polishing machine, and the center height of the abrasive disc, then securely lock the main machine plate. (3) Adjust the position of the feeding and discharging device's support wheel to align the workpiece in a straight line on both the main and auxiliary machines. (4) Adjustment method: Place the tube into the main machine (the main machine should be in a parked state), and retract the abrasive head. Loosen the locking screw of the plate, turn the adjustment wheel to adjust the plate until the tube center is level with the guide wheel, then securely lock the plate. Loosen the locking nuts of the feeding and discharging device's support wheel, turn the adjustment handle to keep the tube aligned on both the main and auxiliary machines. (5) Before the first polishing operation, check if all abrasive heads have been retracted to prevent damage to the machine components due to excessive cutting. (6) The speed of the motor driving the guide wheel should be increased gradually from low to high to avoid unexpected malfunctions. (7) Straighten the excessively bent tubes before polishing. (8) To achieve an economical and reasonable polishing effect, not only choose the polishing cutting amount reasonably but also select the number of abrasive heads based on the original surface condition of the workpiece, such as reducing the number of abrasive heads if the surface condition of the round tube is good. (9) Use a quality-approved abrasive disc for polishing on this machine; otherwise, vibration and other safety hazards may occur due to unbalanced blades.
