The external cylindrical polishing machine is a device capable of polishing the outer surface of slender cylindrical workpieces. By rapidly grinding the workpiece surface with a high-speed rotating machine, it can remove rust and other impurities, resulting in a high-luster finish. Depending on the model, external cylindrical polishing machines can be categorized into single-station and multi-station types. A single-station model features one polishing head, while a multi-station model has multiple polishing heads. Both can perform the polishing process on workpieces, capable of polishing 6-12 meters per minute, making them suitable for rust removal and polishing of workpiece surfaces.
The external polishing machine has a wide range of applications, suitable for metal processing, standard parts, and various iron pipes, steel pipes, aluminum pipes, and copper rods. It can be used with a variety of polishing machine types, such as flat polishing wheels, grinding wheels, and cloth wheels, among others, and is easy to switch between them.
Polishing machines come in various models, ranging from single-group to multi-group options. For those with less demanding brightness requirements, a single-group polishing machine is sufficient. However, for higher surface smoothness needs, a multi-group machine is necessary, as it uses multiple polishing heads to simultaneously grind the workpiece surface, effectively achieving multiple polishing passes in one go. This results in a significantly better brightness compared to single-group machines, and the workpiece's original dimensions are not altered after polishing. Excellent polishing effects are achieved on various metal materials.
