Section 3: General Description

The TX6218 series is a high-precision, low-power, 3-terminal positive voltage regulator, manufactured using CMOS and laser trimming technology. This series offers high current and significantly reduced dropout.

The TX6218 is composed of a current-limiting circuit, drive transistors, precise reference voltage, and error correction circuit. This series is compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors. The current limiter's feedback circuit serves as short-circuit protection and operates as an output current limiter for the output pin. The internal output voltage employs laser trimming technology. Within the range of 3.0V to 3.6V, increments of 0.1V are available. The TX6218 series is packaged in SOT-23.
