Mining cable is a fiber optic cable specifically designed for mining environments, playing a crucial role in applications such as mine construction and industrial control.Mining CableThe operational environment requirements are relatively specific due to the mining environment often being filled with dust, high humidity, and vibrations. Therefore, the following requirements must be met during installation and use.
One, temperature conditions
In mining work environments, where responsibilities and conditions such as high temperatures are often encountered, the installation and usage temperature range for the equipment should be between -40℃ and +70℃. Due to the unique nature of mining environments, temperature fluctuations can be significant, necessitating stable temperatures to prevent adverse effects on the fiber optic cables from extreme highs or lows.
II. Humidity Conditions
In mining environments, the relative humidity is relatively high, thus it is necessary to consider the humidity factor during installation and use. It is recommended that the relative humidity should be within 95%, and if the humidity is too high, appropriate moisture-proof measures should be taken to ensure normal operation and service life.
III. Waterproof, Dustproof, Shockproof
The mine's dust is heavy and vibrations are intense, which can easily affect normal operation. Therefore, the installation location must avoid dust, humidity, and high-intensity vibrations. If used in a mine, certain waterproofing, dustproofing, and vibration-proof measures must be taken. Special EPDM rubber or silicone materials are used to add sealing cones and gaskets to ensure the stability of mining optical cables and prevent external dust and damp air from entering the cabinet.
