Mining cables are widely used in the coal mining industry, and their market prospects are closely linked to the development of the coal industry. China's stable and growing output of raw ore products is attributed to the vast domestic market, rapid economic growth, and increasing per capita income levels, which have fueled the rapid expansion of mining cable demand domestically.

Mining cables used in power systems mainly include overhead bare conductors, power mining cables, and electrical equipment cables for power equipment. Power mining cables are one of the most commonly used types of mining cables, characterized by insulation layers extruded (or wrapped) around the conductors, such as overhead insulated mining cables, or multi-core braided cables corresponding to the phase, neutral, and ground lines of the power system, such as cables with two cores or more for overhead insulated mining cables, or with added sheath layers like plastic/rubber sheathed mining cables. Power mining cables are primarily used for strong electrical power transmission in generation, distribution, transmission, transformation, and supply routes, with high current (ranging from dozens to thousands of amperes) and high voltage (from 220V to 35kV and above), suitable for underground and surface equipment in mines, such as mining machines, conveyors, underground lighting equipment, communication equipment, and signal equipment cables, as well as underground electric drill cables, cap lamp cables, and power cables for underground mobile substations. Mining cables refer to electrical wire and cable products used for ground and underground equipment in the mining industry, including cables for plastic, conveyors, communication, lighting, and signal equipment, as well as electric drill cables, cap lamp wires, and power cables for underground rubber-sheathed substations. Mining cables are flame-retardant and typically operate at voltage levels of 10kV and below.

Mining cables are widely used in the coal mining industry, and their market prospects are closely linked to the development of the coal industry. From the perspective of product market applications, approximately 90% of China's coal mines are obtained through underground mining, so about 75% of our country's mining cable sales market is supplied to the mining equipment in underground coal mines. There are a large number of mines unsuitable for open-pit mining and abundant reserves of underground coal mines. Moreover, large-scale underground mining has mature, safe, and reliable technologies, and more enterprises are gradually shifting their mining operations to underground mining. The promotion and application of mining cables in metal mines and underground mining can generate significant economic benefits.

Underground Mining

Underground Mining involves dividing the orebody into fields, stages, and blocks (or mining areas) using underground working methods. Through the development of the orebody, preparation, cutting, and reclamation work of the blocks, mining activities are conducted with the block as the basic mining unit. These activities reach the underground mine through horizontal or vertical tunnels, known as drifts, shafts, or sinkholes, from the surface.

Outdoor Mining

Surface Mining involves removing overburden from orebodies in flat and inclined deposits, followed by the extraction of ore through a systematic mining sequence, including stripping rocks. This method encompasses strip mining, open-pit mining, and bench mining, and is widely used for mining non-ferrous metal deposits, open-pit coal mines, and open-pit iron mines.
