Common quartz sand, i.e., SiO2≥90-99%, Fe2O3≤0.06-0.02%, has a melting point of 1750°C, with an appearance of large particles and surface yellow casing. Common quartz sand is typically made from natural quartz ore, processed through crushing, water washing, drying, and secondary screening, to form a water treatment filter material. This material features no impurities, sharp angles, high density, high mechanical strength, and long service life with high load-bearing capacity, making it an ideal material for chemical water treatment. Particle size range is 5-220 mesh, and production can be tailored to customer requirements. Main applications include metallurgy, silicon carbide, glass and glass products, porcelain, cast steel, water filtration, soda ash, chemicals, shot blasting, and other industries.
High-purity quartz sand, with SiO2 content of ≥99.5—99.9% and Fe2O3 content of ≤0.001%, is meticulously processed from natural quartz stone. The particle size ranges from 1—0.5mm, 0.5—0.1mm, 0.1—0.01mm, to 0.01—0.005mm, and can be customized to meet customer requirements. Applications include glass manufacturing, refractory materials, silicon iron smelting, metallurgical fluxes, ceramics, abrasive materials, and casting molding quartz sand. In construction, it is utilized for its strong resistance to acidic medium erosion, allowing for the production of acid-resistant concrete and mortar.
