Before operating the electric cantilever crane without a load, running it and checking the control systems and installation of all operating mechanisms can reduce accidents during use.
Prior to operating the electric cantilever crane, a trial run is required. Be cautious not to tilt along the main beam direction, and the lifting weight must not exceed the specified lifting capacity.
The inspection method for electric jib cranes includes a static load test. After confirming that the mechanism operates normally, raise the rated load (or gradually increase to the rated load), and start the electric hoist to run back and forth along the full length of the main beam. Unload the crane, stop it at the end of the main beam, lift a heavy load with a load, allowing it to hang 100-200mm above the ground for 10 minutes continuously three times. After the third unloading, check for any deformation, cracks, paint peeling, loose damage, or other conditions that may affect the crane's operational performance in the electric jib crane's various components.
Additionally, the transportation test was conducted by lifting 1.1 times the rated load across the span. Simultaneously, the electric hoist lifting mechanism and the crane's movement mechanism were activated, with repeated tests of start-up, forward rotation, stopping, and reverse actions, lasting at least one hour. A total of six cycles were tentatively scheduled. Following this, the electric jib crane was inspected for any anomalies.
