Zinc grounding batteries utilize two or four zinc sacrificial anodes separated by insulating washers, paired together. Each zinc sacrificial anode is connected to a cable, with the zinc grounding batteries housed in backfill material bags. When zinc grounding batteries are used for connecting two pipes, the two cables from the zinc grounding battery are respectively connected to the insulated joints on both sides of the pipes (one on each side), with the insulated points being a certain distance away from the insulated joints.500mm。

1、          When connecting cable joints to pipelines, aluminum thermite welding technology should be used.

2、          Before welding, the pipe weld points should be cleaned to expose the metal surface.

3、          After welding is completed, the weld points should be re-treated for corrosion resistance and strictly followed the specifications as per the drawings.

4、          After the anode bag is buried in the anode pit, it should be thoroughly watered to ensure full saturation.

5、          After anode embedding, backfilling is conducted.20~30CMCompact the soil once and water it. Wait for the water to seep through and then continue backfilling and compacting. Ensure the filling material is saturated, level it out, and restore the original topography.
