1. Soil. Reeds have low soil requirements, but using loose, fertile, and well-ventilated soil can enhance their growth. During cultivation, you can mix humus soil, cultivation soil, and river sand to create a growth medium for them.

2. Sunlight Exposure. Reeds thrive in sunlight, so it's beneficial to cultivate them in areas with ample outdoor light sources for optimal growth.

3. Temperature. Reeds thrive in warm, moist natural environments, but are also cold-resistant. Generally, no special attention is needed for temperature, just ensure it doesn't drop below 8℃ during winter.

4. Irrigation. Use a "dry and water immediately" standard; no standing water is allowed to prevent root rot. Water every 5-7 days during winter, but do not overwater.

5. Propagation: Use the fiber插 method for the propagation of reed. In spring, select robust, disease-free main stems, dig out a portion of the underground rhizome, and plant it in loose, fertile, and well-ventilated soil. Ensure good water permeability. After the seedlings emerge, enhance management and apply a dilute liquid fertilizer moderately.
