How to grow孔雀草
1. Select Soil
The孔雀草 has strong drought resistance but is not tolerant of waterlogging. The soil for planting must meet requirements such as good aeration and drainage. Such soil is less prone to waterlogging, allowing for better root respiration and promoting the growth and development of the plants.
2. Sowing Methods
Sow clean, plump pheasant's eye grass seeds into the soil, then cover them with a layer of vermiculite or thin straw to aid in moisture retention and light penetration. Follow by spraying water over the seeds to ensure the soil remains moist.
3. Post-maintenance
After planting the crown flower seeds, sufficient light conditions must be provided to promote rapid seedling emergence. During the intense sunlight months of July to September, to prevent leaf burn, a layer of shading cloth should be placed over the plants.
