Wulian Grey and other stone products require installers to meet the basic needs of customers during the installation process. The surface of the Lu Grey granite features stone colors, and installers must also pay attention to implementing appropriate waterproofing measures. Currently, there are three types of stone installation sealing methods available on the market:
1. The air gaps in the installation of Luhui granite are not sealed with adhesive; instead, they form an air convection layer on the back of the stone. This allows moisture vapor to escape, aiming to prevent the formation of temperature differences on the surface of stones like Wulian Grey, thus avoiding condensation on the inner surface of the stone.
2. The semi-joint sealing method used in the Luhei granite maintains the facade without visible sealant, offering a pleasing three-dimensional appearance to the stone product. In reality, the sealant layer is concealed within the joints, but the thickness of the sealant should be approximately 6mm and not exceed the width.
3. The installation of Luhei granite uses neutral silicone sealant, a specialized stone adhesive. Its working principle is to perform an overall sealing treatment on the seams of the stone's exterior facade, preventing rainwater from entering the stone's backside. This ensures that the stone remains sealed from the elements during rain and snow, without altering its flexural and shear strength.
Additionally, when sealing Luhei grey granite, it is crucial to always remember that although the stone cannot breathe freely, it at least requires sufficient "ventilation" to allow the survival and propagation of the bacteria within the stone. Many measures during the sealing process are centered around these two points.
