In my opinion, metal, stainless steel, and steel-wood classified bins should be chosen, as these types have recyclable value but are often stolen by thieves, so proper security measures must be taken when placing them. Additionally, avoid using bins made of plastic or glass fiber reinforced plastic, which can cause radioactive damage.

 Considering placement: Most classified trash bins are outdoors, in areas with high foot traffic and concentration, and are used relatively frequently. Therefore, there is a certain requirement for the capacity of the bins, and it is best to choose larger capacity bins. Currently, some street-side trash bins are completely covered in advertisements, while the bins inside have a surprisingly small capacity, almost like decorations with exceptionally limited space. Such bins hardly meet the needs of waste collection and are essentially just advertising under the guise of shared trash bins!

Next, let's discuss the functional planning of categorized trash bins: As we all know, waste classification includes recyclables, non-recyclables, hazardous and toxic waste, and other waste. Categorized trash bins come in two, three, and four-compartment varieties. If all these functions are planned on the bins, it can significantly reduce the complexity of waste sorting and also enhance public awareness of垃圾分类.
