In case of open circuits, melted contact wires, or missing phases, identify the cause and promptly repair it. Next, inspect for any mechanical issues with the pump itself, common reasons include too tight packing, debris caught between the impeller and pump body causing blockage; the pump shaft bearing leakage ring is rusted; or the pump shaft is severely bent. Solutions include loosening the packing, clearing the water intake channel; removing the pump body to clear debris and remove rust; and removing the pump shaft for alignment or replacing it with a new one.
