Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing Unit Description
The Sodium Hypochlorite Injector is designed for adding sodium hypochlorite solution, featuring safe operation and ease of use.
2. The sodium hypochlorite dosing unit employs a metering pump, equipped with a back pressure valve at the pump outlet to prevent siphonage or backflow.
3. The import metering pump is equipped with a flushing facility. Before shutting down the metering pump, tap water is used to flush the metering pump's overflow system to prevent crystallization from forming inside the pump head upon shutdown.
4. The import of metering pumps is equipped with filters and exhaust facilities to prevent the presence of undissolved substances in the sodium hypochlorite solution in the intake pipeline or bubbles generated from the decomposition of sodium hypochlorite from affecting the performance of the metering pump.
5. The sodium hypochlorite dosing unit is equipped with a water flow dilution device, which dilutes the sodium hypochlorite solution to approximately 2000 PPM. This effectively reduces the concentration of sodium hypochlorite at the dosing point from the metering pump, preventing crystallization or decomposition of sodium hypochlorite within the pipeline.
6. Automation Control
Sodium hypochlorite solution dosing equipment is equipped with a PLC controller. Local display and control are available between the equipment, while remote display and control can be achieved from the control room. Both remote and local control can perform the same functions, with a touch screen display used for the monitor.
The controller features manual and automatic switching. In manual mode, the chlorine dosage can be set manually. In automatic mode, the controller can accept 4-20mA flow signals (provided by the user) or 4-20mA residual chlorine signals (provided by the user or optional with a residual chlorine meter). The sodium hypochlorite dosing device controller can automatically proportionally dose sodium hypochlorite based on the treated water flow rate, and also adjust the dosage based on the residual chlorine level in the water after chlorination.
The controller features multiple backup digital input terminals, which can be configured to implement alarm and shutdown protection functions such as material shortages and water outages according to user requirements.
