RO Equipment Maintenance and Care Tips

As the technology of reverse osmosis systems continues to advance, the design of the systems becomes increasingly refined and user-friendly. Currently, reverse osmosis systems operate fully automatically, simplifying operation and reducing labor and other costs. However, problems are inevitable in the daily operation of industrial pure water equipment, thus requiring operators to possess certain maintenance and care skills.

The total incoming water volume of the reverse osmosis (RO) equipment, which includes the sum of permeate and concentrate water, is controlled by the RO incoming water regulating valve. If there is no change in the incoming water volume of the RO equipment, do not tamper with the RO incoming water regulating valve; strictly prohibit fully opening or fully closing it. The RO concentrate drain regulating valve is used to adjust the system recovery rate. If there is no change in the recovery rate, do not tamper with the concentrate drain regulating valve; it is prohibited to fully open or fully close it.
When a high and low pressure alarm occurs on the reverse osmosis equipment, first check if the manual valve between the security filter and the high-pressure pump is too small. Then, inspect if the RO feedwater regulating valve and the concentrated brine discharge valve are functioning properly.
