Rural Safe Water Equipment utilizes automatic hydraulic control operation, featuring a compact structure, automatic operation, automatic reverse flushing, and integrating mature technologies from both domestic and international sources. It boasts simple operation, stable performance, excellent treatment effects, and low cost, with minimal operational expenses. It is primarily used in pre-treatment for various water supply projects, raw water purification, and circulating water purification.
Eligibility Criteria
The comprehensive water purification equipment is suitable for surface water sources with raw water turbidity less than 1000 NTU. The effluent turbidity meets drinking water standards. It is applicable to most rural areas and is designed to purify high-turbidity raw water for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Process Introduction
1. Coagulant Addition: The addition of coagulant is controlled by the variation of raw water turbidity through jet equipment, optimizing the coagulant dosage to ensure the effluent turbidity. The addition system includes: pressure jet tanks (suitable for small water purifiers) or jet drums and measurement pumps.
2. Mixing: By adding flocculant to the raw water and rapidly blending it using a mixer, the flocculant is evenly dispersed throughout the water, creating optimal conditions for subsequent flocculation and filtration reactions. The improved tubular static mixer offers the advantage of low resistance, resulting in a 20%-30% reduction in flocculant input.
3. Contact Filtration: After the coagulant and raw water are rapidly mixed, they enter the contact filtration layer, where the coagulation reaction is completed, transforming the suspended particles and colloidal particles in the water into uniform alumina flocs, which are then intercepted by the filtration layer to ensure the water turbidity is less than 1 degree. The filtration material uses φ0.8-φ1.5mm uniform quartz sand, with a filtration rate of approximately 8-10 m/h. This filter features an automatic backflushing function, which not only reduces the workload for maintenance but also guarantees water quality.

4. Backwashing: After a period of operation, when a sufficient amount of dirt accumulates in the filter layer, the resistance of the filter layer increases, resulting in a reduction of filtered water volume. At this point, the equipment automatically backwashes the filter layer, reversing the flow to wash away the accumulated dirt into the effluent channel, thereby restoring the filtration capacity of the filter pool. The backwashing water is supplied by the filter's own water tank, with a backwashing rate of 15 liters per square meter per second, and the backwashing process lasts for 4-5 minutes.
5. Disinfection: After adding disinfectant, filtered water flows into the clean pool. The disinfectant dosage is also controlled by an adding device to ensure the water quality meets drinking standards. The treatment system includes: a special processor.
Cautionary Notes:
1. Refined aluminum sulfate, alkali chloride aluminum, ferrous sulfate, ferric chloride, etc. The equipment delivers excellent processing results when used.
To ensure water quality, consider adding a preliminary treatment stage before the water purifier if the raw water turbidity often exceeds the equipment's water inlet requirements.
While inhibiting algae growth, appropriate disinfectants are added to the equipment to prevent algae from reproducing in the source water.
