In everyday life, many people often notice a milky white sediment after boiling water or a milky white solid on showerheads. In many industrial productions, such as knitting factories, they find that linen becomes stiff during cleaning. If there is a lot of dirt in the heating furnace, the heating enterprise will reduce the lifespan of the facility, or if there is a buildup of sediment inside large or medium-sized central air conditioning pipelines, it can severely harm the operation of the equipment.
This is primarily due to the high water hardness and high chlorite content in the original water. How can water hardness be reduced?
If your local water quality is particularly poor, you might consider a reverse osmosis system, which offers excellent treatment but is also relatively more expensive. Generally, when water quality isn't severely compromised, a water softening system can be used to address the issue.
The fully automatic soft water treatment equipment removes chlorate from water using ion exchange with positive ions. When water resources containing calcium and magnesium ions are processed through the equipment's epoxy resin, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water exchange with the potassium ions in the epoxy resin, transforming the water into softened water. When the calcium and magnesium ions absorbed by the equipment's resin reach saturation, regeneration is required. The regeneration process involves cleaning the epoxy resin in the epoxy resin tank with brine from the salt tank, replacing the calcium and magnesium ions on the epoxy resin, and then draining the wastewater from the tank, allowing the epoxy resin to be reactivated. Regeneration typically includes backwashing and forward flow regeneration.
Due to the fact that water hardness is primarily caused by calcium and magnesium, the original water's strong components, Ca2+ and Mg2+, exchange with Na+ in the epoxy resin, thereby吸附ing the Ca2+ and Mg2+ from the water for softening treatment.
