The airtightness test is conducted by connecting a precision differential pressure sensor with the same air path as the test piece and the standard piece. It measures the differential pressure between the standard piece and the test piece within a specified time frame. The actual pressure drop of the test piece is determined through temperature compensation, allowing for the assessment of whether it is leaking.
3. The airtightness tester is a crucial factor in ensuring the success of the test. The method of inspection involves submerging one end of the conduit from the reaction device into water, while pressing the outer wall of the reactor with the palm of your hand (or using an alcohol lamp to heat it). If the airtightness tester is leak-free, the air inside the container will expand, causing bubbles to escape from the conduit mouth; after the container cools, water rises into the conduit, forming a water column. If the airtightness tester is leaking, no bubbles will be observed.
