I. Simplified Production Process of Stainless Steel Ball Bearings: blank forming → descaling → coarse grinding → soft grinding → heat treatment → blank forming → polished ball (or filing → soft grinding) → hard grinding → fine grinding → finishing (or polishing) → finishing. II. Detailed Production Process of Steel Balls: 1. Wire Drawing: Stretch the wire material to the required diameter using a drawing machine. 2. Cold Heading (Forging): Place the drawn wire into the steel ball cold heading machine, where it is formed into a ball blank by the steel mold inside. 3. Polishing: The two cast iron grinding ball plates in the polishing machine press and file the cold heading ball blank to remove the outer ring and two poles. 4. Soft Ball: The two cast iron grinding ball plates in the soft ball machine file the polished ball blank to achieve the required ball diameter and surface roughness. 5. Heat Treatment: Place the balls in a heat treatment furnace for carbon diffusion, quenching, and tempering to give the balls a certain carbon layer, hardness, toughness, and crush load. 6. Hard Grinding: The abrasive wheel plates in the grinder press and grind the heat-treated ball blank to remove the black oxide layer on the surface and correct the ball's precision. 7. Finishing/Polishing Cleaning: Finishing: Refine the ground ball blank in the finishing machine to achieve the required precision and luster of the finished product; Polishing Cleaning: Place the balls in a polishing drum, rotate it, and clean with polishing cleaning agents mixed with water to make the surface clean and bright. 8. Appearance Selection: Manually inspect the steel ball surface for any defects and measure the true roundness, batch diameter variation, and surface roughness using a surface roughness meter for final inspection. 9. Packaging: Apply anti-rust oil to the steel balls/stainless steel balls/steel ball bearings, pack them into boxes or burlap bags, and then bundle them.
