Key Points to Note for Glass Reinforced Plastic Storage Tanks During Loading, Unloading, and Transportation

1. Typically, transportation is conducted using trucks or rail trucks. Whether it's vertical or horizontal fiberglass storage tanks, they must be secured to the vehicle with support and fixing rings. A rubber pad or other soft cushion should be placed between the support rings and the tank body. When removing, avoid using hammers or other hard objects to directly strike the tank to prevent damage.
2. The glass fiber reinforced plastic tanks were lifted using cranes and soft ropes, placed on the ground on pre-prepared wooden boards. For smaller tanks, the forks of a forklift can be wrapped with soft pads, and the tanks can then be placed on the boards using the forklift. All glass fiber reinforced plastic tanks should be prevented from making direct contact with the ground.
3. If temporary installation is not in place, the tank should be placed on a bracket and securely fastened to prevent rolling. Safety should be a priority during the installation process of the fiberglass storage tank.
