CLHS Type Double-Loop Hot Water BoilerThe original vertical boiler structure features: combustion within the lower furnace chamber, with flames flowing upwards and exiting through the chimney; the flame path within the furnace is the same height as the boiler, resulting in higher exhaust gas temperatures and lower thermal efficiency.

The new-style double-loop hot water boiler features a structure where the flame burns at the upper part of the boiler body, forcing downwards before ascending through the fire tubes. The flame path within the furnace is twice the height of the boiler, resulting in lower exhaust gas temperatures and higher thermal efficiency.
