The pressure residual monitoring host, also known as the pressure residual monitor, is typically installed in the fire control room and serves as a monitoring device within the pressure residual monitoring system to oversee the operational status of the system. The host primarily facilitates the relevant personnel in the control room to understand the system's operational status and respond quickly based on the relevant conditions.
The main functions of the residual pressure monitoring host include:
Display residual pressure monitoring system operational status.
2. Displays the number and status of sub-devices, i.e., the status of the excess pressure controller and excess pressure detector.
3. Display Fan Status
4. Display Pressure Relief Valve Status
5. Log alarm information
6. Features backup power operation capability
7. Alarm and print functionality
8. Remote Control Functionality
9. Chinese Address Memo Feature
In accordance with GB51251-2017 "Technical Code for Smoke and Smoke Exhaust Systems," requirements have been set for the residual pressure values in antechambers and stairwells equipped with mechanical pressure supply air systems.
The pre-room static pressure is 25~30Pa, and the stairwell static pressure is 40~50Pa.
Therefore, in the pressurized air supply system, by adding a surplus pressure monitoring system, the air supply volume is controlled through monitoring the surplus pressure value, ensuring it meets the requirements for surplus pressure specified in the smoke control and exhaust regulations.
However, the specifications do not explicitly require the main unit. The Sperri pressure differential monitoring system, through the embedded program of the controller, can be combined with pressure differential detectors to form an independent automatic control system. The main unit can be selected as a system configuration option, purchased as needed according to project requirements.
