Construction Process Flow
Surface Treatment → Patch Leveling → Apply/Immerse Epoxy Resin → Paste Carbon Fiber Tape → Apply/Immerse Epoxy Resin → Surface Protection
Construction Steps:
Surface Treatment
(1) Clean off any defects or damaged parts from the surface of concrete components.
For cracks narrower than 0.15mm, use sealant for surface brushing and sealing; for cracks wider than 0.15mm, use crack filler to fill the缝.
2. Patching and Levelling
Defective parts of components that have been trimmed, cleaned, and exposed are repaired and restored using patching adhesive.
3. Coating and immersion treatment胶
In a quality ratio of A:B = 2:1, after impregnation with the adhesive, mix it thoroughly. Then, apply the prepared impregnated adhesive evenly to the concrete surface where bonding is required using a drum roller.
4. Apply carbon fiber fabric
(1) Avoid air pockets between the carbon fiber fabric and the impregnating resin during application. Use a roller (special tool) to roll multiple times along the fiber direction on the carbon fiber material, allowing the impregnating resin to penetrate into the carbon fiber.
Carbon fiber longitudinal joints must overlap by at least 500px; there is no need for transverse overlapping.
5. Coating and dipping adhesive
After the carbon fiber is fully adhered, apply a single coat of the impregnating glue to the surface of the carbon fiber to ensure the glue is fully soaked into the carbon fiber.
6. Surface Protection
After bonding the carbon fiber fabric, it requires 1 to 2 hours of natural curing to achieve initial hardening. It should be ensured that the curing process is not disturbed or collided with from the outside.
(2) Implement protective measures such as applying fire-resistant coatings based on the on-site environment.
