Steel strand anchors are devices used for prestressing and anchoring. They are commonly used in bridge construction, where they are pre-installed for positioning, followed by concrete pouring and embedding at both ends of the concrete, which are the ends of the corrugated pipes. These ends are primarily designed for the stable effect of the jack during tensioning. Steel strand anchors are anchoring devices used on concrete structures.
The positioning of the prestressed steel strand's holes and whether the steel wires have twisted are key factors in quality control. The accuracy of the hole positioning is not precise.Indeed, altering the structural stress state, if the elevation change segment of the curved channel is not smooth, it will also increase the frictional loss in the prestressed channel. Therefore, the accuracy of the channel orientation is directly related to whether the construction's prestress can match the designed prestress, and has a significant impact on whether cracks will occur during the structural and engineering application stages. If multiple steel strands are twisted together, the uneven distribution of forces on each strand during tensioning increases the friction between the steel strands, leading to a greater loss of prestress.
Pre-stressed anchorage can be divided into two categories: a) Tensioning End Anchorage: These are installed at the ends of steel prestressed tendons and are capable of tensioning, hence termed pre-stressed anchorage. In post-tensioned structures or components, they are used to maintain the tension of the prestressed tendons and transfer it to the combined anchor; b) Fixed End Anchorage: Installed at the ends of prestressed tendons, typically embedded in concrete and not used for tensioning. Most of what we sell are M15, BM15 anchors, suitable for steel strand diameters of 15.2-15.7mm. The commonly used set includes the anchorage plate, wedges, anchor plate, and helical reinforcement. This is referred to as the tensioning end. The other type includes P-shaped pads, shrink sleeves, restraint rings, and helical reinforcement. This is referred to as the fixed end.
