One, the transportation of anti-corrosion steel pipes should pay attention to the following points:

① Handling: Use lifting equipment that does not damage the pipe ends and avoid damaging the anti-corrosion coating. All construction tools and equipment must comply with regulations during handling. Before loading onto vehicles, ensure the anti-corrosion grade, material, and wall thickness of the pipes are checked in advance; mixed loading is not recommended.

② Transportation: Proper push blocks should be set between the trailer and the cab. When transporting anti-corrosion pipes, they must be securely tied down, and protective measures for the anti-corrosion coating should be taken promptly. Rubber pads or some soft materials should be used as cushioning between the anti-corrosion pipes and the chassis or pillars, as well as between the pipes themselves.

What are the storage standards?

Tubing, fittings, and valves must be stored properly according to the instructions, and regular inspections should be conducted during storage to prevent rust, deformation, and aging.

② Materials such as glass cloth, heat shrinkable tape, and heat shrinkable sleeves must be stored in dry, well-ventilated warehouses.

③Pipe, fittings, and valves, etc., can be categorized for outdoor storage. Naturally, the chosen storage site must be level, free of stones, and free from standing water on the ground. The slope should be between 1% to 2%, with drainage ditches.

④ Corrosion-resistant pipes in the warehouse must be stacked in layers to maintain stability. The height must ensure the pipes do not lose their shape. They should be stacked separately according to different specifications and materials. Soft pads should be placed between each layer of pipes, and two rows of sleepers should be laid under the pipes on the lower level. The distance between the stacked pipes and the ground should be greater than 50mm.

⑤ During on-site construction, storage requirements for piping materials: Use two pads at the bottom to elevate, with an approximate spacing of 4m to 8m between them. The anti-corrosion pipes should not be less than 100mm from the ground. Flexible isolation materials should be placed between the pads and the anti-corrosion pipes, as well as between the anti-corrosion pipes themselves.
